Zhan Zhang, Two Judaeo-Persian Letters from Eighth-Century Khotan (BAI 31, 2022-23)

Invisible East researcher Zhang Zhan revists the Judeo-Persian letters from Dandan Uiliq which are the oldest known Persian letters in Hebrew script, to contextualise them within the development of language and documentary practice in this part of western China and amongst Jewish communities.
